TRAVEL AND TALK!

Few people travel to Oman instead of one or more of the neighboring Emirates, which are visited by almost everyone who travels to Dubai. There are a number of options, but Dubai to Dibba is a well-liked one because it lets you reap the benefits of the Gulf of Oman and see some stunning scenery through Dubai Musandam cruise. The Dubai to Dibba route should be seriously considered if you’re travelling to Dubai. Imagine yourself lounging aboard a magnificent traditional Arabic boat in a remote location, taking in the Musandam Mountains for yourself. Better yet, picture what it will appear like as the sun sets. Regardless of how corny it sounds, you can snap as many shots as you like with the dhow in the sun’s background. The pictures are amazing.

Travelling on a dhow: Riding the dhow on this tour is arguably one of the most thrilling reasons to do it. The traditional boat of the Arabs is called a dhow. The scenery is much more striking, but still the boats are the same. The coasts of Oman are renowned for being among the worlds most untamed and stunning. The moment the dhow sets off, it becomes clear why many liken this area to Norway. In Oman, the water is a Caribbean blue, but Norway’s climate is cooler and the water is piercingly pure.

After roughly an hour of sailing, here is what to expect in terms of options for things to do.

  • Snorkel in the pristine blue water.
  • Banana boating and speed boating
  • Take the speed board to the nearby limestone (White Rock), then explore the caves there.
  • Explore the beach or sunbathe there.
  • Splash into the ocean by leaping off the Dhow or swinging from it.
  • Do Fishing using a hand line

It’s time to relax on the dhows’ couches with your food in hand and enjoy the setting sun. The drive is peaceful and quiet. Since practically everyone chooses to lay around, it’s low key.  You’ll be alright if you book with a reputed trip operator and have all your papers in order. The tour operator will take excellent care of you and make sure you can go there and back without incident.
